A Lifelong Love of Radio, Built to Help Independent Artists Be Heard
Blind and Sighted Radio was created by blind producer J Jack Owens, whose real name is Johnny Owens.
Johnny's passion for radio and DJs began when he was just eight years old. What started as a childhood dream grew into a station built around music discovery, broadcasting, and the belief that great music can come from anywhere.
Blind and Sighted Radio plays a wide range of sounds and genres, mixing independent artists with mainstream music to give listeners an always-on experience that feels fresh, open, and unpredictable. There is also a country music show, Country Hour, Sunday through Friday from 6 to 8 pm EST. The station is committed to helping independent artists reach new listeners through music submissions and independent artist spotlights every Tuesday and Friday at 12 noon EST.
Whether you are listening for something new or submitting music of your own, Blind and Sighted Radio is here to keep independent music moving.
"I've loved radio and DJs since I was eight years old. Blind and Sighted Radio is my way of sharing that passion while helping independent artists reach new listeners."
Johnny Owens, founder of Blind and Sighted Radio
